In her solo show Motherlands (through Dec. 23), Camile Hoffman draws upon her Philippine ancestry and New Mexican childhood for an immersive, (through Dec. 3), which draws its title from an endeavor of the same name that connects artists to the land. The project’s founding director, Oregon-based artist Tilke Elkins, curated the group show to coincide with his solo exhibition Records of Being Held (through Dec. 3). Leaves become an artistic medium in Megan Bent’s Patient/ Belongings (through Dec. 23), a solo exhibition in which the photographer plays with imagemaking beyond the traditional camera. Nature’s seasonality is key to Santa Fean Jacks McNamara’s multimedia abstract works in Ancestral Imagination (through Dec. 3).
