Madina Kasimbaeva

Booth 44 Tashkent is the home of weaver Madina Kasimbaeva, whose workshop produces some of the most finely crafted textiles in the area. She provides employment for more than 150 artisans, the vast majority of whom are female. For centuries, Tashkent textiles have been revered for their meticulously arranged designs and also for their exceptional durability.
