Booth 16 Elena Ladik has always had a fondness for the sartorial. She works with high-quality, handwoven Uzbek silk and cotton, and vintage fabrics from village markets. She colors them with both natural and aniline dyes. The resulting creations speak to the cultural history of Uzbekistan and its influences over time.
