Lesia Pona Pokuttya Folk Art

Booth 21 The Pokuttya Folk Art Cooperative offers many examples of traditional Ukrainian arts: embroidered garments and accessories, pysanky eggs and golden icon paintings. Lesia Pona, head of the cooperative, shares that most of the members are women. They face many challenges because of the difficult economic situation and ongoing military conflict in Ukraine.
