Booth 69 At Sulafa Embroidery Center in Gaza, hundreds of female refugees produce embroidered textiles by hand while maintaining traditional artistic styles. Aside from wearable items, the collective also creates bed covers, wall hangings and shoulder bags. Embroidery plays a central role in these women’s lives, providing income, friendships and a connection to Palestinian identity.
