Carlos Amador Lopez Bringas

Booth 2 Carlos Amador Lopez Bringas is a fourth-generation rebozo maker from Tenancingo, Mexico. A rebozo is a long, flat woven garment, similar to a shawl. When Lopez Bringas was 10, his father taught him to make rebozos. A little over a decade later, he founded Rebozo Mexiquense Academy, which aims to preserve the craft and to provide jobs for young people in the community.
