Hilario Alejos Madrigal

Booth 12 If the pineapple is a symbol of hospitality and goodwill, then Hilario Alejos Madrigal surely is a gracious host. He is famous for his ceramic pineapple pots, most often coated in a rich, shiny green glaze, made from clay found near his home in the town of San José de Gracia in Michoacán. He works with his wife, Oudelia Cerano, and their five children in a studio attached to their home.
