Booth 92 Alebrijes, fearsome, fantastic and colorful creatures constructed by hand from paper, paint and glue, are the legacy of the late Mexican master folk artist Pedro Linares Lopez. The Linares family has been working with traditional Mexican paper-mâché for five generations, and Pedro’s grandchildren continue sculpting alebrijes using the same techniques.
