Aidai Asangulova

Booth 35 Aidai Asangulova was raised in the tradition of felting; her grandmother was a well-known maker of felt carpets in the small village of Kyzyl-Tuu during the waning years of Soviet occupation in Kyrgyzstan. From an early age, Asangulova had a fascination with the artistic possibilities of working with felt. Her felted scarves feature brilliant colors and intricate detailing.
