Ferney Mejía

Booth 65 The master weavers of the Eperara Siapidaara ethnic group utilize chocolatillo and tetera fibers to create their freight and four-breasted baskets, coloring them with natural dyes derived from achiote and other plants. Ferney Mejía represents two associations, Mités and Asoglodi, whose Eperara Siapidaara members were forced to migrate and take refuge in other parts of Colombia.
