At this centennial celebration, the most gifted Indigenous artists in the country come together with visitors from across the globe. Produced by SWAIA, Santa Fe Indian Market generates an estimated $160 million in local revenue and brings in more than 150,000 visitors.

Visitors can get a general preview of awardwinning art on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center, 201 W. Marcy St. The market itself takes place on Saturday and Sunday on the Plaza and surrounding streets and includes entertainment and the Indigenous Fashion Show.

Santa Fe Indian Market Schedule

Friday, Aug. 19, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Best of Show ceremony and luncheon, for SWAIA members only, followed by a Sneak Peek from 2 to 4 p.m., also for members only. Immediately following is the general preview, open to the public, from 4 to 6 p.m. All Friday events are held at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center.

Saturday, Aug. 20, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Market day. Free. A ticketed gala and live auction take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center. See swaia.org for ticket prices.

Sunday, Aug. 21, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Market day. Free. The Native American Clothing Contest runs from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on the Plaza. Free. The Indigenous Fashion Show starts at 3 p.m. at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center, followed by the Indigenous Fashion Trunk Show, same location, where shoppers can order directly from clothing designers.
