VOLUNTEERS WELCOME

Nationally and locally, cancer organizations rely on volunteers to support patients and advocate for cancer research. Due to the pandemic, there are fewer volunteer options available to protect everyone’s safety. Check with the organizations below to see how you can help.

American Cancer Society / volunteercommunity.cancer.org

Please register as a volunteer so the American Cancer Society is ready to assist patients and families when programs can resume. Volunteer options include fundraising through Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Relay for Life events, as well as direct patient support and advocacy.

American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network works to encourage elected officials and candidates to make cancer a top national priority. ACS CAN needs volunteers to join its advocacy work for cancer prevention, early detection and improving quality of life for cancer patients and their families.
