• Caregiver support: a free program provided by Cancer Services of New Mexico that matches caregivers with volunteers who have been in the same role; cancerservicesnm.org or 505-259-9583.

• Casa Esperanza: an affordable home away from home for out-of-town cancer patients and their family members. Services include free clinical counseling, community dinners and family food boxes, transportation assistance and patient navigation services. Contact: 505-246-2700 or casanm.org.

• Holy Cross Hospital Cancer Support Services: provides support to Taos and Colfax county residents who have cancer, including health care navigation, support groups, housecleaning, massage and other modalities, grief and loss counseling, dog walking, fitness or lifestyle coaching, and assistance with transportation or lodging. • Hotel Partner Program: free or reduced-rate rooms at participating hotels in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and Santa Fe for cancer patients and their caregivers traveling for treatment.
